Title: A New Political Superstar
Post by: jaybet on December 08, 2008, 07:23:20 AM
It's official! The press has annointed a new political superstar, who will, no doubt, be shoved down the throats of New Yorkers. Caroline Kennedy has been "anointed" by the press to replace Hillary when she vacates her Senate seat. The seat is filled by Governor appointment and the press is pushing Kennedy.

Now I'm sure she's a nice lady who has busied herself with philanthropic causes, but a Senator? Shes a Kennedy so she gets a Senate seat, even though her only qualifications are her "community organizing", the fact that she's the daugter of JFK, and that she's probably the only Kennedy who can pass the vetting process.
Nice.
Who says there's no aritstocracy in the US? The Bush dynasty, the endless Clinton presence, and now another Kennedy to fuss over.

I heard Bill Clinton wants the position. If so, it's the first time he's after his wife's seat in a long time.

I remember years ago hearing that something like 900 families in America control 90% of the economic and political structure of the country. If you watch you can see how boards of directors in the major corporations trade members, how elite political families move back and forth seemlessly between the halls of power and corporations etc. How the children come of age and immediately become players.

Yes there is some movement into and out of the upper elite but the cold reality is that we ain't part of it and won't be. In a way, it is all theatre. We are just sitting in the audience. We don't get a chance to get on stage.

These elite families not only control our economy, they control both major parties, no person attains a high political position unless first vetted by them.

Be careful Runstowin, the Illuminatti may get you for telling their secrets.

Would you really want to be tracked, scouted and ambushed by every hustler and scam artist on the planet after your money or favor? How sad life would be to have to coordinate your everyday decisions and activities with your staff security team so you or kids don't get kidnapped or assasinated. I don't envy them or any of the trappings of power. You may also have my share of lottery tickets. Good luck, really. I'll be off playing with the grandson, like regular folks get to do.
Mac.

Don't forget the Build-a-Bears.  I was never good at spelling.   ;D

I think it's Bildebergs, ;D
Actually there are enough coincidences to make the more gullible believe that sort of stuff, for example, the original Bush money came from a deal with Averill Harriman to disguise the ownership of Thysen Krupp, so their US assets would not be seized during WWII (While his Son was getting shot down in the Pacific war Daddy made a fortune on the European war) Krupp was a German firm of course and Bavaria is a state in Germany, Bavaria is where the "Sons of the Illuminati" originated.  Like "Holy Blood Holy Grail" or "The DeVinci Code" it makes for interesting reading reading but falls apart when human nature is applied. Personally I never bothered looking to deeply into it because I don't put much credence in the theory that any group could continue to work together through so many generations, look at the Catholic Church, they were operating in the open and had schism, and assassinations and anti - Popes ( multiple Popes at the same time, one backed by France in Avignon, one backed by pretty much every one else in Rome)
