Whoops!
Which famous professional shooter lobbed a 5.56 round through the tire and wheel of a rental car at a filming session last week???
I'll never tell!
Good shootin Tex! You gonna have that thing mounted?
I dont ever want to hear anyone complain ever again about the stopping power of 5.56! If it can stop a sedan, then it is more then enough gun for me.

Hey, it's a rental car. People abuse them all the time. ;)

That may be true, but most of us don't actually try to KILL them ;D

I want a picture of the guy at the rental desk when MB was trying to explain what happened. MB...I hope you took the insurance!

Looks like MB is making the 'Jackass - Car rental' sequel. ;D or he just a big fan of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in6IJCngYng (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in6IJCngYng)

MB if I have a problem with the customer service at the car rental place I usually just ask for the manager. How effective was this new method? Do they overcharge for the tire and the wheel like they do for the gasoline? Inquiring minds want to know?

Try these:

Pfft! He's an expert. Obviously just trying to wing the beast, there was no report of fatal fluid leakage...
-
I think it was just a warning shot. But to whom, I don't know. Gun experts don't have accidenal discharges. ;)
P.S. You killed it. You gotta eat it. Them's the rules. ;D

There's a Plaxico Burress Avis ad in there somewhere.... :)

Just to come to MB's defense, sort of, I replaced a tire for customer of mine the he hit with an arrow while trying to sight in a new sight on his bow. Through a garage wall no less! Talk about penetration. ;D I couldn't get him to tell me how his hunt scored B&C though. He acted like it wasn't official yet. ;)

(((((whispering)))) *maybe it wasn't MB..................* ;)

Maybe we can all chip in and get him a Trunk Monkey Range Master Version.

About 20 years ago I put a nice .30 caliber skylight in my friend's shed roof.
Bolt action rifle extractor failed to extract the last 30-06 cartridge while unloading. Cycled the bolt several times and thought it was empty. Rim of the cartridge case was dented right at the point where the extractor grabs. I failed in my duty to finger-check the chamber and when I closed the bolt and squeezed the trigger (I've never liked to leave a gun cocked) BANG.
One and only negligent discharge in 25 years of shooting.

Drunken non-ADs are rough on a vehicle too. My friend got a sunroof opening in his truck thanks to another friend's 12 gauge. I think 3 guys were in there blasting away. They said it was loud too. ::) By buddy plugged the holes with a can of spray foam and still drove the truck after that. That's one of those times you know alcohol was involved even if no one says so.
