on 10/29 or 10/30 I registered with Ruger Recall (I have an answering e-mail), and I still haven't heard anything from them, what's the average time everybody else is waiting? Between the LCP and the Crimson Trace I have a $500. paper weight. Kel-Tec is looking better all the time. :'(

Haz? Haz? Dave? ......Oh well, he will be along in a minute. ;D

Patience, young Jedi. I signed up as soon as I saw the recall here, and just got my box last Wednesday. You can still use your LCP, it's not like the hammer falls of its own accord. I carried it right up until I put it in the box.

I signed up too as soon as we heard, and I got my box last Wednesday too. In fact, I was carrying mine when I went to get the mail as I was going Christmas Shopping. Carried it the whole time and I probably won't send it in til after the 5th as I have a concert to go to and I'll darn sure have it on me then.
After that, I'll send it in.
So you should be getting your box and paperwork real soon.
-
o much for my carrying it until January....
Marshal jumped in and sent it in today.........
sighhhhhhh.. guess I will just have to rely on my 9mm.. ya think if I stick it in my bra.. anyone will notice? ;)

I'd be willing to help you fit it correctly. 8)

"I'd be willing to help you fit it correctly."
I think that is a death penalty offense in Kansas Haz.

That is why they don't let husbands go into the fitting rooms with their wives ... the custom fitters don't like the competition ;)
Side note:
M'ette, where did you get your new holster from. I saw the guy on Cowboys and missed his name and website.
-
Nick Asadi has made it. He owns Tombstone Leather Products out of San Diego California.
I got it today and I LOVE it. I will post pictures soon. Once you have one of his holsters you will never ever ever be satisfied with anything else. You can draw and your belt or holster never move.. and you can drop that gun back in and there isn't a bit of friction. Awesome.. Makes drawing and shooting a breeze..

Does he have a web site? On searches all I can find is this forum.

If Marshal is like most of us you'll have to be even more naughty to get what you want. Naughty girls always get the belt. ;)

Here you go, M'ette. Be really naughty and you might get this as a bonus

NORTH AMERICAN ARMS WESTERN BELT BUCKLE HOLSTER
Fits NAA .22 Long Rifle Mini-Revolvers with 1 1/8" barrel (Model #NAA-22LR).
This western style oval belt buckle holster safely carries your NAA-22LR Mini-Revolver and features a secure clip release. This belt buckle works with standard size grips, but not with oversized grips.
-
I registered as soon as I heard about the LCP recall. On 12/17 I received the shipping container and directions from Ruger. Today (12/23), my LCP was returned.
Initial examination shows a possibly smoother trigger.
Ruger also sent me a hat and an spare mag with their version of the finger extension floor plate.
Overall I am pleased with the work they did.

I do believe the Lady already has one of those.

I was going to say "she could give it me, then". But I'm not sure i could even look at it knowing how she obtained it! ;D

Ohhh yeahhh Riiight.. Who you kiddin'..
You'd take it no mater how it was obtained.. hahaha
The one I want is also from North American Arms.. but it has a belt clip to attach to your belt. it is so cool. I played around with one last year at Shot.. and this year.. I do believe I might just get me one.. I can't decide on the longer barrel or the shorter one. I think the longer one.
I need some Down Range guys to go with me when I order it this year at Shot Show.
That way , Marshal will have to be nice cause there will be witnesses...

Have you shot one ? Buddy of mine has one and it is a royal B!TCH, The grip and trigger are so small that it is VERY difficult to shoot, and with .22 Mags it really twists in your hand. But as a last resort gun at close range it does the job.
-
The little belt one in the buckle is only for maybe snakes (close range). it isn't the most easy to shoot either.. but I just want one to hook on my belt along with my knife when I go fishing and 4 wheelin' and stuff like that. Just for fun.
-
Best carry gun is the one you CARRY ;D

For some people with 'special physiques' (those of us with 'dunlop disease), the NAA Belt Buckle could still be concealed carry......
;D ;D ;D
-
I have a longer-barreled NAA Mini .22 Magnum with an extra cylinder for .22 LR. I don't have a problem with recoil, but the original grips are too small and the oversized grips are too big. :( The boot grips are the Goldilocks of grips for me. They're just right. It won't fit in the belt buckle with them, but the magnum or the long barrel wouldn't fit anyway. http://www.naaminis.com/pix/22gbg.JPG
