I would add that carrying at the hip will get you through doorways easier than shouldering it. And a pistol grip stock makes it easier to shoot and with less recoil from most positions. Semi-autos can be fired one-handed if your other hand is disabled. If I shoot right handed with the sling over my left shoulder I can easily fire 7 shots one-handed from the hip. Also, the extended bolt handle allows me to reach over with my left hand to operate it.
