Michael said that the Steyr AUG had been "re-introduced". If so WHERE AND WHEN can I get one? Anyone want a "M-15" marked Leatherwood llower, M-4 upper, a Mepro 21 and a Trijicon TAO1NSN?

AUG's are being produced at Steyr's plant in Maylasia or Indonesia IIRC. They have been listed on two different US Steyr importers prices lists, but never actually landed here. Also, the latest US Steyr importer's relationship with the company ended in January and Steyr (in Austria and the AUG plant) was sold January 29, 2007. Also, it seems Steyr sold 400 .50cal rifles to Iran and 100 were found recently in Iraqi insurgent cashes (see the recent Wall Street Journal article). With the Euro to Dollar exchange Steyr prices have increased around 40% in 6 years and they have gone through 4 different US importers in that same time. I would not hold my breath on an AUG...

I understand Microtech and some small shop are both making AUGs, and one of them is manufacturing the guns to use AR mags.
