Title: Movie gun
Post by: bluesman001 on July 01, 2007, 12:07:57 PM
New guy lurking around....Question for ya.

In the movie Young Guns, Doc Skurlock (Keifer Sutherland) carries a Sharps rifle of some kind.  Of the sharps forum, one guy mentioned a Hunter model.  As it has a half octaganol/half round barrel.  I also noticed what seems like a single trigger.  Anyone have info on this model?  Is it so custom there is no info out there?  Also, it looked like Pat Garrett carried the same type rifle in YG2 beginning.

Thanks for the help.

If I had it on DVD and a video capture card.  There is a great closeup shot of the rifle, as the camera zooms on Doc, just after the Guns kill 3 more Murphy Men at the creek (traitor scene).

Just a thought but if you have DVD drive in your computer, most consumer Computer DVD playback software that I've used (Roxio, Sonic, PowerDVD) have the ability to take screenshots and save them.
