I don't see an engine. Maybe there's a hand crank on the other side.

P.S. Mine's bigger.  ;D  And it's only 10 feet away, in the kitchen. If my shed gets broke into again they aren't getting my good saw.

Are you old enough to remember when they had car type carbs ? My Dad had one when I was a Kid, I think it was a Homilite, , if you laid it on its side to cut the gas ran out, so there was a handle to turn the bar onto its side.

I don't remember those. Was it a 4-stroke? My dad's old Stihl saw doesn't have the thing that catches the chain if it breaks. It would fly off at full speed if it broke. Hopefully it's going away from you. No vibration dampening either, and it's heavy. Even if you didn't have an accident it hurt to use it very much. Old saws suck.

Roger that.  I spent a full week behind one of mine after Katrina.  The old ones didn't run as well which was a huge nuisance....and that chain flying off thing, got a friend with a long scar on his leg from one 40 years ago.  These are the good old days for chain saws.

Same here except the chain wrapped around his head, leaving a diagonal scar across his face.

Here's a guy who's good with a chainsaw.  :)  He could kick Edward Scissorhands @$$ any day.
