Sig has a new .380 also...saw a picture in "Gun Week". They gave no price just that it would be on a 1911 type platform.
FWIW (Got to put this just in case. I got in trouble on another forum)

It's a butt-ugly little thing, but I think I could warm up to it.

For years the .380 was categorized as marginal at best. Hundreds of magazine articles were written on its lack of power. NOW it is the best thing since sliced bread. Heck it could bring down a rogue elephant !! Me thinks all this speaks more to the business nature of the industry than any wiz bang power boost it recently got. Like fins on a Cadillac baby...Next they will be pushing a .25ACP ! Taurus President Morrison said it all on TGs Guntalk last week. YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOMETHING AT THE SHOT SHOW. No matter what. Just like the car industry.

Why do you carry a .380?, because you can't carry a 9mm or bigger, why do we carry 5 shot revolvers, because we can't carry something bigger with a higher round count, yes .380 has come a long way in the ammo offerings, but still does not give me warm fuzzzies, but as the old saying go's " better than a sharp stick in the eye " but maybe just barely.
It is definitely ugly enough for me, and the specs look like it is barely bigger than my NA Arms Guardian, .32acp. I would take a .380 over the .32 any day, and since I can't afford a Rohrbaugh 9, I will use the lesser calibers, when they are all I can get away with.

At the ranges you would be using it a .380 should be fine. I would have laughed at any one who said that a few years ago, but a few years ago, 9mm was marginal, bullet technology has gained the .380 new respect. Performance technology and +P capability might even be able to help the lowly .32.

.327 mag ;D

I thought of the .327 but it's not a semi auto round. (yet ;D had to beat you to THAT one )

Ugly guns don't usually bother me, but that thing is major ugly. It's too heavy as well. I'll stick with my P3AT and my LCP. At 8.3 ounces and 9.4 ounces respectively, they disappear in the pocket and don't weigh you down. Plus the +1 mag extension KelTec makes fits both the P3AT and the LCP giving both a 7+1 capacity.

Those little 380s are expensive and wait till you price the ammo then you will have a sticker shock :'(
