Not a problem. The confuser.... I mean the computer takes care of multiple entries and cut it down to one, unless there is a DRTV user ID entered. Then it counts as 2.

I don't know about m58, but I have a curse when it comes to winning. I was just blowin' smoke in my earlier post. ;D

I'm like the guy on the Andy Griffith Show that Barney convinced he was a jinx. They put his name in a hat and only his name was in there so he HAD to win, and he pulled out the hat size tag.....that's me.

The last time I went to the casino I finally won but when I left, one of my trailer tires blew after only a block or two and took the fender off. I still came out ahead for the day but not much. I was on my way to a nearby trail to ride my new ATV that I picked up on the way to the casino and still haven't made it there.

Now where's the video for this rifle?

The rifle will be shown at SHOT and we plan (we always have plans) to get some footage of it at the TacSol booth. I believe when the AR is shipped to the lucky one in March, Marshalette's fingerprints will be all over it.

I used to own a V22 .22 upper but it would not reliably feed or extract. Finally had a OOB ignition and it blew apart the magazine. Sold it soon after.

I now use a Ceiner kit...it took a lot of tweaking to get it to run...I use Black Dog mags and they be the shizzle (?)

I can't wait to win this puppy.

BTW any of you Noo Yawkers can store it with me as I am just over the border in Pennsylbama, of course I would have to check it occasionally for serviceability in my backyard range ;D. Yeah thats it, Harmony's foster home for AR's. I will make sure they are well fed and brush their chambers regularly 8).

Well, between the 8 feet of snow we received this winter, not to mention every damn river from Minnesota to the center of the state decided to flood, and oh, BTW, this part of ND makes a calm ocean look like a mountain range, there hasn't been a lot of opportunity.

I just picked up a new goody, porn coming soon to a thread near you, but it may be a few weeks until I can get a range report.

Post by: deamonpi on April 16, 2009, 09:31:33 PM: Well I have not received the entire firearm yet, I received the upper and lower about two weeks ago, I just received the magazines today at 5p, and the scope I believe was received by my FFL today (they sent it there because that's apparently the only address they had, no problem). The fore grip should be here in about a week. I have no parts from other guns to borrow so I could not even shoot it, all the controls work though.

I think they meant it to come in pieces, but I think there was a logistical problem. Anyway, I have all the necessary pieces to shoot it, so I will try to on Monday after work, assuming the roads are not washed away. The only thing I am missing is the laser grip, but it should arrive soon. This thing is fun, It shoots great, the trigger doesn't seem to be mushy, but what do I know. I only had one FTF, but with 22 ammo that's really good. Accuracy is good, 50 yd zero, shooter's accuracy needs work though. This thing will be a great training tool. The scope works really well and is easy to adjust. This thing works so well I'm at a loss of what to say. Anyway here's some porn.

Thanks demonpi. I'm glad you've enjoyed OUR gun. ;D Seriously, I would like to hear a little about your travails in putting it toghther and bore sighting etc. I know a lot of us are considering an AR kit pacakage, with a barrel from here, a lower receiver from there etc. If you're not an expert, so much the better. Neither are we. Some real world advice is always good. Once again I wish you th joy of he gun.

And right there you answered one of my big questions about the rail system. If it was good enough you could slide on a scope and get on paper without boresighting it, I'm relieved.
