Guess the Chinese aren't the only ones doing knock offs.
-
That's so rare I never even heard of it. ::)
-
Took me a minute, but I'm on board. Is it ignorance or malice?
-
As they say on the Magpul website, never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
-
And proceeded with the uber rare marking before the first "S" ;)

I take offense at calling SNOWWIS "cheap". Okay they are on the lower end of the cost scale, but I like my ORPRIA SNOWWIS model in -12 to -4x04 OA. I'm sorry they discontinued those models. Mine were made in tiny protectorate of ANIHC.

They are cheap! If I had an SKS, I'd probably put a Simmons scope on it! ;D

I saw something either here or in a gun magazine about knock offs like this coming out of the former soviet union, I don't remember if it was Russia or one of the republics.
-
That's like going to the auto parts store and asking for a "710" cap for a Chevy pickup. ;D ;D ;D
-
The gun sold. I do have a PDF of the auction for future preservation. The funniest:

Ya think ? ;D

I keep thinking about the rarely encountered Snowwis scope. This guy must have seen OTHER Snowwis scopes before this. :-[

Perhaps he had been use to using those not so famous uoʞɪu scopes

Are you just picturing every piece of shooting gear written upside down now?
Exit question: How the hell did you type the k upside down?

I'm sort of an "outlier" (a very good book to read BTW) when it comes to this stuff. I started in computers in the mainframe days and spent hours upon hours with EBCDIC and ASCII codes. So while I don't remember all the codes I do know where to find them.
OKAY you twisted my arm, I'll tell. The easiest way to cheat is to go to Word (or your favorite word process) and "Insert" a "symbol". Scroll through them and you'll find most every conceivable juxtaposition of the alphabet you could imagine. Create the "word" you want then copy/paste it to your posting. Beats the 64 character, uppercase-only chain printers we used back in the "stone age".

And I thought I was radical rotating some of my scopes 90 degrees CCW to keep the windage adjustment clear my hand reaching for the bold and to access the mag well easier....
