I just talked to Ruger and they said that they're working with a new contractor, and they're are 5 to 6 weeks behind on fixing the LCP's, so if your's in there, don't expect to see it for awhile. Maybe they can give a Kel-Tec as a loaner gun. :(

I just got an e-mail from Joe Cramer who says they are not 5 to 6 weeks behind they're only 4 to 5 weeks behind. What ever happened to.
(When we are ready to retrofit your pistol, we will send you a shipping label and package with instructions so you can return your pistol to us FREE of charge.)
I hope this isn't what they call ready to retrofit my pistol. With all the trouble they've had lately you would think they'd know how to run a recall, of course I also thought they'd know how to build a gun.

Ruger has a lot of experience with "free upgrades". A recall might be a little more difficult.

Wonder what happened - I got mine in exactly 7 days including shipping - and that was over New Year's In less than 3 weeks they're already 4-5 weeks behind?

I'd be willing to bet it had something to do with either switching contractors, or NEEDING to switch contractors.
