Title: Kenyans keeping it all in perspective -- "This man is Jesus"

Quote
“This man is Jesus,” shouted one man, spilling his Guinness as Barack Obama began his inaugural address. “When will he come to Kenya to save us?” If Barack Obama’s spin doctors have been trying to lower expectations since his election victory, the message clearly has not reached the land of his father…

“Now he is president we will get food and jobs,” said Ben Ochieng, as he danced to the traditional music that replaced the planned show…

“It is right that when people get power they look after their family, so we know that Obama will build lots of good things for us, like schools and roads and clinics,” said George Opiyo as he left the theatre.

They are not that far off, here is the quote from inagural address:

"To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds."

The problem is, they don't know the meaning of the word alongside.

Just more of the same in my opinion. Sending more of our hard earned money to people who would just as soon spit on us at the least and kill all of us given half a chance. Distrubution of our wealth on a global scale. The CHANGE is bigger taxes and less wealth for the common US citizen taxpayer.

Egypt also receives 2Billion US dollars a year, someone needs to cut that crap out, and well there is always the standard waste used in earmarks, like a manatee mating assessment for 1.3 million here in Fl.

It was a NEW study that was already done in the 1960's, guess what? Manatees mate in water, swim and eat, get in the way of boats and are endangered. There.... Give me the money..... ::)

President Obama could've taken a few bucks out of his own pocket and vastly improved the life of his half-brother in Kenya at any time over the past few years, but instead chose to allow his sibling to live in stark poverty.  Now that he's using someone else's money his generosity will know no bounds.  If that isn't the true definition of a liberal I don't know what is.
