Any current or former members of the US Armed Services might be interested in this site
http://www.togetherweserved.com/
This will lead to sites for the specific branch of the service where you served.

I already did Tom...
I was able to connect with a bunch of old squid buddies I haven't talked to in thirty years and you can cross visit the four branches of the military as a guest...
Great site...

Cool, I haven't visited in a while as I never found any one I served with.

My MOS was pretty small, just a bunch of geek ASW techies that were stationed at small remote (although quite beautiful) little facilities up and down the Atlantic and Pacific coasts. It I listed the areas, it sounds like something from a cruise line tour.
Not very many of us even though the cold war lasted from the fifties through the mid eigthies. Not too hard to connect and we have an alumni group as well..
I stay in contact with a couple dozen on a monthly basis. It's amazing that your old vet buddies you haven't seen can finish the conversation you started thirty years prior...

Going on the theme of contacting those we served with. L/3/5 Association has a website http://www.limathreefive.com/. Open to anyone who served with the company.
