Hi guys. Thanks for the contact. I have been busy learning all about Hospice care giving. Sadly, my wife is my first patient.
If you smoke, stop. If you live with a smoker, make'em stop. Or leave.

I'll be around when I can and I REALLY appreciate the thoughts.

Mack - hang sit in there (avatar!). Hiospice is great, my Dad had their care, wonderful caring people. He was a smoker too, although that was only a contributor for him.

Sorry it is for your wife, though. Our prayers are with you and her. Be strong, brother.

Mac, hang in there.  I am very familiar with Hospice and the wonderful care that is given by everyone involved in it.  My prayers are with you and your family.

(((Marshal started today... threw out the cigarettes and is at least going to give it his best shot.
His idea.. ( although I DO nag him a lot about it.) but still ..his idea..

And for both of you M'ette.  Marshal for strength in kicking the habit, and you for strength in not killing him during the process.

Mack,
Hospice was a God-send for my family with my Grandfather eleven years ago (he was a life-long smoker). We just went through this during Thanksgiving with my wife's father (COPD from smoking) and the memory is still very strong.
Hang tough.
You and your wife are both in my prayers.
