It seems some people in New Hampshire have been taking testosterone injections;
That any Act by the Congress of the United States, Executive Order of the President of the United States of America or Judicial Order by the Judicatories of the United States of America which assumes a power not delegated to the government of United States of America by the Constitution for the United States of America and which serves to diminish the liberty of the any of the several States or their citizens shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States of America by the government of the United States of America. Acts which would cause such a nullification include, but are not limited to:
I. Establishing martial law or a state of emergency within one of the States comprising the United States of America without the consent of the legislature of that State.
II. Requiring involuntary servitude, or governmental service other than a draft during a declared war, or pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
III. Requiring involuntary servitude or governmental service of persons under the age of 18 other than pursuant to, or as an alternative to, incarceration after due process of law.
IV. Surrendering any power delegated or not delegated to any corporation or foreign government.
V. Any act regarding religion; further limitations on freedom of political speech; or further limitations on freedom of the press.
VI. Further infringements on the right to keep and bear arms including prohibitions of type or quantity of arms or ammunition; and
That should any such act of Congress become law or Executive Order or Judicial Order be put into force, all powers previously delegated to the United States of America by the Constitution for the United States shall revert to the several States individually. Any future government of the United States of America shall require ratification of three quarters of the States seeking to form a government of the United States of America and shall not be binding upon any State not seeking to form such a government; and
That copies of this resolution be transmitted by the house clerk to the President of the United States, each member of the United States Congress, and the presiding officers of each State’s legislature.

;D WOW, My kind of state.
Just emailed copy to WA governor.
-
I don't think it's big enough for all of us ;)
-
They take their state motto, Live Free or Die, seriously.
-
I'm guessing that the New Hampshire Free State Program has lived up to what little hipe that it got. I wonder how Wyoming might resond to this?

I guess that would put the kibosh on such Tomfoolery as drafting young men into the army to fight in United Nations police actions such as the Korean conflict and the VietNam War.

It was news to me, The vote is the 5th, (it's in committee now) Just E-mailed several friends copies of it and told them to get on their Reps about it. Then I e mailed MY Reps.
-
Maybe we need to send copies to ALL of our state legislatures. I will, at least here in MT I'm not wasting my time like back in MI.
-
Check your state constitution first. Some of the post Civil war ones had more "oversight" from Washington. The ones from former Confederate States may not be the same as original either.
For example, NH still has Article 10, The right to armed resistance to Tyranny. ;D
LIVE FREE OR DIE !

Well we know what state won't be getting high way funds in 09
-
Every state should do this.
-
TAB, Many of us think the feds should shove their money and cut our taxes.
-
The right to keep and bear arms is written into my state's constitution.

Funny, I thought it was written into my country's consitution, but sometimes I wonder...

Yes, It's almost as unlikely as YOUR states politicians not committing a felony by violating immigration law .
Pathfinder is right TAB, People like you are the problem with America. You find it easy to condemn conservatives and their values because you have none of your own.
Your posts prove that you have the moral compass of a Schnauzer, If it's good for ME , it's good , otherwise it's bad.
You whine about licensing fees in your trade, well the fact is that people in your Profession would not be getting hosed on fees if you had not cheated so many home owners, ( maybe not you personally, but those in your trade). The politicians got so many complaints about crooked contractors that they decided to require licensing, the fact that they set the price high enough to make you squeak is just KARMA.
To the rest of you I will point out that TAB can't be a socialist plant, that to requires principles, (even if skewed) and he does not have the spine for that, He's a kite in the breeze.

Let's get back on topic here.
I am hoping that someone will let us know what happens tomorrow with this. (HRC-6)

Man I have not seen a throw down like that in a long long time...... I'd love to know the back story there.
I was born and raised in Keene N.H. and worked in both Manchester and Nashua, I go back about 2 or 3 times a year to see my folks.
After living in Idaho for the last 15 years, there's no way in HELL I'd move back, maybe form the inside people in N.H. don't see the change but coming from a TRUE free state - N.H. is truly becoming the Boston Mass, annex mumbles Menino think you are. To the point mumbles bitches about N.H.'s gun laws and the State Police are working to intact stricter laws internally to suit his highness in Baston'
No thank you. But good luck with the good fight.

HCR 0006 is listed as "Due out of committee" 3/19/09.

So its a "wait and see" thing. :-\

I thought I already posted my idea but I guess not. ??? I'd like Kalifornia and New Yawk to secede. They can take all their liberal politicians, gun laws, and electoral votes, and leave the rest of us alone.

Yes. Then make the continental US a no fly zone for those liberal idiots and make them go the long way around.
-
I would also propose making a 2 mile wide no-mans land along the Mex. border ;D
-
Tom, have you heard the latest on what the situation in New Hampshire is?

Here's one ref

This is the first I've heard about a vote, last I heard was that the Committee recommended against it as "Inexpedient to legislate"
I did see in the paper today that they approved measures to legalize "medical pot" and do away with our death penalty, 6 months after some YBM got sentenced to death for killing a Cop.
Getting to many Massholes up here.
-
Getting to many Massholes up here.
They don't call Nashua the "Gateway City" for nothing.
-
They ought to call it a free fire zone
-
I'm moving to the first State that seceds. ;D
-
A lot of us will ;D

I'm moving to the first State that seceds. ;D
That will be the State of Superior, Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Secede, declare Superior a free and seperate country, sieze the Mighty Mackinac Bridge, declare war on the US, surrender, and get foriegn aid. Makes as much sense as anything going on in DC.
Probably shouldn't mention sense and DC in the same sentence though.
