What brand and model number was the holster Mr. Bane used for his Ruger 4" Redhawk holster on his show that was a"All wheel guns all the time". I am about to get a 4" Ruger Redhawk (KRH-444) like the one he had on the show, but am having a hard time finding that holster. So if your listening Michael, help me out.

I guess Michael doesn't visit here often....

Why don't you PM him...I don't know why he hasn't seen your post.

Gosh! I try to go through all the "hot" threads at least once a day! I did, however, take a short vacation last weekend in Florida, and I fell a little behind. My apologies. You can always email me at mbane@outdoorchannel.com or leave a post for Marshal or Marshal'ette, whom I talk to at least once a day.
The holster I used in that show was a Blade-Tech vertical belt holster fitted with a dropped offset adapter:

You can also get the holster with a Tek-Loc, essentially an easy way to take the holster off the belt. If you order from Blade-Tech, be sure to tell Bobby McGee, their uber-holster designer and factory shooter, that he's the coolest guy int he world!
Don't overlook the belt, either! Even at 4 inches, the Redhawk is a beefy boy and it takes a good, solid belt to support the weight. You guys know that I'm a big fan of the Wilderness Tactical Instructors Belt:

These are the best buys in the industry, and everybody should have at least one. For the big Ruger, I recommend the 1 3/4-inch width with the 5-stitch reinforcement...you will definitely appreciate the extra stiffness if you're carrying a heavy gun all day!
BTW, I liked the 4-inch Redhawk so much I bought it. I sorta have this idea of overhauling the gun in a few little ways...I still think I can shave a few ounces off the gun with some judicious grinding, and while I like the Hogues, I keep thinking that a really nice set of wood grips would spruce up the gun.
Again, sorry for my delayed response! Hope this helps...

Thanks Michael. I followed the link, however there was not a Ruger Redhawk listed. I will try to call them Monday (I hope you didn't get the last one!). Congradulations on Shooting Gallery and Best Defense. They are 2 of my favorite "Gunshows".

Be sure to tell them you saw the darn holster in SHOOTING GALLERY, so you KNOW they can make you one!
