Just got back from a trip to the family farm(95 miles each way). I finally sighted in the DPMS AP4-.308, warmed up the AR-15, sighted in Dad's Marlin .22WRM, and ran about 100 rounds through the 1911. Man I feel good!!! But I violated one of my cardinal range rules...Never shoot the big gun before the little gun! Big recoil first means flinching through the first few low/no recoil guns. What can I say, I am not a pro.
But man, what a good day. The wifey even heated up the XD9.
