Title: Tactical XD.45acp...Whats the BEST personal defense and best On Duty round?

Im packing a Springfield XD .45acp 5" barrel Tactical model for BOTH  CCW and On duty (Security Officer).

  Question:  What grain and/brand would you use for

                         1)Personal Protection ccw
                                                                           
                         2)On duty (Security officer)

   Any FACTUAL help would be greatly appreciated!

IIRC, Golden Saber, Hydra Shok, and Gold Dot all have higher than 90% 1 shot stops.

I'm partial to the Federal HST in 230gr -  Tends to expand to 1"

You can choose one type of ammo for both applications because your first priority is PYA!  Add Cor-Bon DPX for one to the above list.
