Paul Harvey, passed away at 90 years old Sat.

I would watch his news, commentary, TV show in the 70's, and always listened to his historical segments about "the rest of the story".
He made you think, and was always a well spoken commentator, and a Mid-Western gentleman.
RIP

Amen, brother.
Listened a lot when I was in high school, less as I grew up and had responsibilities. Always enjoyed him, always liked him.
On to his reward.
And that is the rest of this story.
-
A gentle voice of reason and common sense that will be sorely missed by a nation that gets farther lost by the day.
-
You guys do know that Paul was anti-gun?
I knew that and still enjoyed listening to him. He seemed to be conservative and sensical in most other things.
-
Now he's been reunited with his beloved "Angel".
-
He still worked up until last week, you could hear the change in his voice, I was always a fan of " the rest of the story" which I'm sure his son will carry on. RIP, Paul, keep an eye on us.

Goood Day?

RIP Mr. Harvey.

Always enjoyed "the rest of the story" because it tended to tear down the dogma and cliche and reveal the "why" behind the common knowledge. Good Stuff.
