Old standbys
H110 for full power .357 loads
Unique for .45ACP
Bullseye for those light .39spl target loads
In case you're interested, HS-6 and HS-7 for .40S&W
I could be persuaded to go all HS-6 for the autoloaders. Just been with Unique for so long (30years) it's a hard habit to break.

What used to be Herculies is now Alliant. I use Bullseye and Power Pistol for my 9mm loads. FWIW...I would recommend not using reloads for self defense. The prosecutor will make you out to be the bad guy saying factory loads aren't powerfull enough for you that you had to load your own to be more devastating than what is commercially available. Etc...

i started out using unique only changed because blue dot took less grains meaning less powder swinging around
going everywhere on a progressive loader i'm planning on purchasing a second loader for the 45 so that way
you just set down load and go no reseting or messing around
thanks for the info on home defends round i do currently shot factory loads

I like either win 231 or unique for all my pistol reloading
both would also work just find for light to moderate 357 loads.

For most of my everyday plinking and shooting, I use Wnchester 231. Works great. Recently came across an old can of Alcan 7. Tried some of it in a 45 Colt. Was very dirty. think I will stick with the ol' 231.

Universal Clays for almost all of my pistol loads. Backup is regular Clays. Works great in 9mm, 9x18mm, .38 special, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP.
