Title: Down Range Radio #100
Post by: Marshal Halloway on March 04, 2009, 02:35:28 AM

This week marks the 100th DOWN RANGE Radio podcast! Michael jumps right in with a set of talking points for people wanting to contact their legislators or the media regarding the Obama Assault Weapons Ban. He also has some thoughts on the new Ruger .44 Special Blackhawks. BTW, we'll be promoting Wild Bunch shooting big times!

THANK YOU!

You know, since I work without a script, I can't remember them all! I actually listen to "back issues" on the plane. I enjoy doing the podcasts (even though Marshal had to practically drag me kicking and screaming into doing them).

Sometime this year we're going to add a weekly 5-minute "video podcast," called THE SECOND, for DRTV. It'll probably be sooner rather than later.

My favorite podcast story was last year while me and the SG film crew were getting off a plane in Denver. I was standing there talking to producer Mike Long, and he was asking me who did I think listened to the podcast. On cue, a Boulder Climber-Type guy none of us had ever seen before walks off the plane with an iPod and earbuds in his ears...without missing a beat, he turns his iPod toward Long, and it's showing my DOWN RANGE Radio's logo. "Everyone," he says to Long, and just keeps on walking...

Again, my profound thanks!

Michael B

PS: Haz...sometimes I feel a lot older than 90!

And that's what makes it special and better than all the rest.

Congradulations Mr. Bane!!! ;D I have been an avid listener to your podcast since Episode #80. Really helps get me through the 12 hour shifts I have on the weekend.
