Mike & John From OpenCarry.org Need Your Help
… and it will not cost you a penny!
As you may know already, both of us are writing Gun Rights columns for Examiner.com and we are compensated for these columns based upon the number of readers that our columns attract. We are hoping to use this compensation, coupled with the support of our wonderful sponsors who have purchased ad space on the forum to support the hosting of the forum and our future advocacy activities in the states.
So we need your help to bring readers to our columns. The first thing you can do of course is to read our articles yourselves every week. But there is one additional thing that you can do that will help even more.
One of the primary methods of promoting content on the internet is via a service known as Digg ( www.dig.com ). Digg users “digg” pages that they find interesting and based upon the number of “diggs” that a page receives, it has the potential to make the front page of Digg which results in a flood of traffic to your site. This is very difficult to accomplish however because there is a concerted effort by anti-gun forces on Digg to “bury” pro-gun material.
But there are far more of us than there are of them and if every OCDO member were to register on Digg, we could significantly enhance the visibility of not our own columns but all pro-gun articles. So, we would like to ask that you not only read our columns every week but that you sign up for Digg and “digg” them as well.
Registering on dig.com is free and only takes a few seconds and once registered, you can “digg” any content on the internet that has a Digg button such as you will see on the bottom of each of our columns.
So in summary, could we please ask you to do the following?
1) Go to http://www.digg.com and register. It is free and easy to do.
2) Read John's latest column at http://tinyurl.com/copeqd and digg it
3) Read Mike’s latest column at http://tinyurl.com/ads76z and digg it
Thank you so much for your help!

Actually Peg, I DID NOT KNOW about your column! (maybe you announced while I was having problems).
Yes, (of course) I did 'digg' as your requested and now have your site in my favorites.
Is your site listed on a link page here? If not we need to get that done.

Haz, (and any others) there is some confusion......this is not my column, it is by John Pierce. The other column, #3, is by Mike Stollenwerk. They are the organizers on opencarry.org.
John sent me the email asking to get the word out about the columns and I did not notice that in #2 on the list that he was writing in first person and had put "my" instead of his name.
Thanks for catching that, pal, I have corrected it.
Sorry for the confusion.

Update from OpenCarry.org
Due to law school exams, it has been several weeks since I have sent an email update with our latest columns but exams are now over and we both have great new columns that we think you will find enjoyable and educational.
As always, I thank you very much for being willing to receive these infrequent emails and click through to our columns. As I have explained before, Mike and I are compensated for our work on a per-view basis, so by simply viewing our columns you can support us financially without having to spend a cent.
Thanks,
John
