Every 7 to 9 months, just like clock work, just as with congressional pay increases every 7 to 9 months, the postal service needs MORE "MONEY" - is as predictable as the sun going to come up in the A.M.

Actually the postal rate increases makes good market sense. They are seeing a huge decrease in business due to email, faxes etc., yet they have to maintain the same infrastructure, so of course the prices are going up. The quality of service is decreasing as well, longer 1st class delivery times, mail boxes at the end of the block rather than your door, longer lines, automatic weigh in etc. Its simply a factor of reduced income. Its capitalism, not socialism at work here.

You're right, it's not socialism; nor is it capitalism - it's an example of fascism and/or how fascism works. Fascism and communism/socialism are cousins...
