A work-in-progress I suppose. Accessorizing my 995. Still waiting on the custom barrel shroud, Military style red dot scope, and aluminum charging handle for now. I will add a laser and tactical light as well, later.

I'm not sure on the meaning of the double eagles with the star, but I got them from an older gentleman, who was a leathersmith, (retired now). He said he used them on saddles, belts, guitar straps, and gun slings as decoration only. They caught my eye at his shop, and I wanted them. I could have bought a leather sling with one on it; but I didn't want a leather sling. So I decided to try them on my carbine. Opinions vary. Some like it alot, and others don't. For me, I just wanted to do something different. I'm not taking this firearm to war. It's a plinker gun, I can target shoot with my friends, and use for home defense. I don't think a BG cares, or will even know I've got them on there.

No, I'm still waiting on my green/red dot scope to come in the mail. Once I get it on there, and the weather gets nicer around here, I'll get her out and run some mags through her! I took it all apart and greased and oiled everything to my liking, so I should be in good shape for her first time out. I give a range report when I get it all together shooter.
By the way, how have you been?
