Title: Glock 30 sf

have any of you shot this gun, it seems to have less felt recoil than the same gun in 40 and 9mm. Everyone says it to bulky and heavy. Put up along side a CZ P01 9mm it is just a little smaller and with 10 +1 45 rd against 14 +1 in the CZ P01 it is only 2 oz heavier. I was very impressed with the CZ 30 and the sf model and like the 45 cal now just a little problem of money. Looks like a great ccw weapon

My son got one. He tricked it out with all the good glock after market triggers, slide release, etc. Shoots great, has a big bark, but I like the eleven rounds of .45ACP. In the sub compact size. He tried a Para Nighthawg, but the slide release on the pistol kept backing out, right out of the box. $1100 for that thing. He got rid of it and got the 30SF.

If I wasn't a Sig Classic fan, and carrying one on duty, I might get one.

Don't think you would be disappointed.

I don't think there's a better compact .45 offering out there.

I trust one when I cant keep a long gun around to do the job right.  It's a great gun that does take a little getting used to (unique in many ways).  Short, fat grip, small frame, managable recoil, VERY accurate, reliability that makes a Timex watch look bad.  A little fat for inside the belt holster carry (I do it though).

Dont be shocked if the slide bites you once while your learning proper hold position. ;)

If you've got the cash look at the Colt Defender as a good option too.
