Title: GSG-5 22lr mp5 clone
Post by: MAUSERMAN on April 05, 2009, 09:33:01 PM
We just finished a day at the range with my GSG5 and this pee shooter is hella fun. It cost so little to shoot and it hits what i aim at. The only thing that sucks is the mags are a bit pricey.

The GSG5 is clone of the MP5 that is chambered in 22lr. The GSG was made as a training tool at first but it was found to be very popular with the average shooter. It works just like an mp5, but no auto or burst mode. The manuel of arms is the same and i wish the thingy on the end was functional.

The price at impact does not reflect the supply and demand for GSG. I was lucky just get one in CA. Gun laws here say the GSG5 has all the evil features of an assault rifle. :-\

My condolences on the non-functional thingy. ;D But do give us a review because even though I'm not dropping 5 bills on a .22 it looks like fun. I think frankly we'd be doing each other a service, as well as providing a great time waster if we shared our toys with each other as it were.

They are not AW under CA law, what sucks is you can only get 10 round mags for them.  It was the main reason I have not bought one.

These things are selling like hotcakes, and it's no small wonder why. They look and run great. Every variant of these they make are very well put together. I need another .22 like I need a hole in my head, but I'm seriously considering one. Pure fun.  Bill T.

I want a GSG myself. I read the review on Gunblast and it seems awesome. My favorite gunstore had the pistol version in stock and it was awesome but I want the rifle version.

The GSG is super fun, i used mini mags on canned beets and they popped like balloons. Red everywhere and hyper 22lr was going threw 2x4's like paper. The little shit whips ass.
