If your even a little interested in Ak's...  Guns and Ammo has a special edition magazine on stands right now called "COMPLETE BOOK OF THE AK47".  Great magazine!  Covers nearly all the variants, even how to build a rifle.

Even if you dont want to own one its smart to be familiar with what may be used against you one day! ;)

Military manuals are OK (they can nearly all be found on-line for free), but possibly second to no other book...  "The Ultimate SNIPER".

It's BIG.  Dont think your gonna blow through this one in a weekend!  (most of what's in it requires pause and thought, so its slow / GOOD reading).
