Title: KP345 for $325.00 should I
Post by: MAUSERMAN on April 09, 2009, 12:35:01 AM
A co worker is selling a KP345 ruger for $325.00 the price is fine for a gun with less that 2 boxes of ammo threw it. I need opinions, the gun is in 99% condition.

Do you already have a .45?  And if yes, whats next on your list?  Do NEED another hand gun?  Different people, different priorities, but if I already had a solid .45 I'd put it towards a tactical shut gun, bolt action, carbine, or sub compact pistol.  But if you already got those, go for it.  You can't never have enough .45's. ;D

Have you had the opportunity to fire it?  Seeing as a coworker is selling it, ask if you can take it out for a test drive.  I personally have never fired that model but it looks pretty.

Get it, if you don't like it you can always trade it. I have not seen a .45 under $400 for a while.

If you were a real man (or as weak as me) you'd buy it.   8)

just something to think about... the other ruger model semi autos the barrel and slide sit directly on the polymer, they did however fix this on the sr9 i have a pic here of the sr9 and its slide support. the other ruger semis have the support however it is made out of polymer

If personal transfers in your state are no paperwork then buy it; buy it now.

Yes i did shoot the thing and she ran great. The recoil was eazy to handle the gun use two recoil springs that dampens the shot even with +p. Also 4 mags and holster its mine.

The gun is a solid buy even at a little higher price. Good deal.

I have a few Ruger P-series pistols. They've always been reliable and worth what I paid for them.
