Aren't they kind of late to this party?

Historically, ballistics, platforms that fired them, the .41 is a great round. I just think it had/has a cult following similar to the 10mm.

Great round, great performance, down right shooter/handloader friendly, just didn;t hit the mainstream like the 9mm or even the .40.

Aren't they kind of late to this party?

Yes.

Arkansas Democrat -Gazette, doing excellent firearms, let alone pistol reviews.  +1, I am a .41 fan, but don't back off of .44 mag, or .45 colt loadings with todays powders and bullets, I have some 270 grn bullets yet to be loaded for my model 57 that I think will bring it into a new arena, much like the 300 grn have done for the others.
