Quote
Seattle Wash.

Police say a woman accused of shooting a man Saturday in downtown Seattle after arguing with him on a bus had a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

The woman, who was booked into jail on suspicion of assault, allegedly told police she had just exited a Route 27 Metro Transit bus at Third Avenue and Seneca Street when he called her a vulgar name and lunged at her. She then shot him in the upper-right chest, Seattle police said. She also said he spat at her, police say.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he underwent surgery. An update on his condition was not available Sunday

This might have been a legitimate use of force...... the article does not go into much detail other then he lunged at her.....  if she was a little old lady and felt threatened by a very large man, you could make the case that she felt like she was going to have great bodily harm done to her.

What I find so interesting is the title of this piece. Very blatant that there is an agenda here. The title should probably really read something like "Man shot at bus station".

Man, you're not kidding. To read it, the headline should be, "Woman licensed to carry weapon shoots man when attacked." What other interpretation could there be?

Here is the previous news article from the Seattle Times.

It appears to be an obvious case of self defense, especially if you read what the other passengers had to say, and the comments from people living there who responded to the article.

Can you tell that this is an anit-gun paper?  They can't say anything without point out she had a permit or questioning the gun.  Apparently what the guy did wasn't important enough to dig into.

Wouldn't a more accurate headline read something like this:

"30,000,000 concealed-carry permit holders shot nobody today"

"30,000,000 concealed-carry permit holders shot nobody today"

"... and criminals continue to lobby OSHA to remove all firearms not belonging to them from their workplace."

This is a MSM storm front.  If there is anything at all that happens with a gun in the immediate future it will be reported with sensationality: Think of all the SUV stories that Mr. Limbaugh has highlighted in the past.  It's the same situation just include the next "evil item" on the hit list.  Unfortunately for the leftist, at least guns are in the Constitution.

Several years ago, when I did not renew my subscription to the Rocky Mountain Snooze, it was because I was no longer willing to support a paper that stood for everything I am against and vice versa.
