At best this is a wash.  besides you never know, we might get one that flip flops right after they are sworn in.

Again TAB is correct, The worst that will happen is a liberal will replace a liberal. When Souter was appointed he was thought to be a Conservative, He always had been previously, maybe his replacement will flip back to the light.

I haven't heard or read much from Second Amendment groups on this, but the word from both sides of Religious issues, abortion and homosexual rights are calling the retirement and who we might get as a replacement a wash.  No one from either side of these issues is expecting more than a new person doing the same old thing.
