I like the new look!!

Only caveat is still there, when I post a reply I want to go back to the thread not the home page.

There is a place to set that option in your profile.  It is under "Look and Layout".

I don't mind this look at all

I don't know about this set up.  Now it looks like every other forum....I guess it's all about the content though, I can live with it. ;)

I do miss the red/black format, but I can get use to this softer look.

A link back to Downrang.tv would be helpful.

Actually the whole "bar" of links from DRTV home page would be nice so I can jump directly to the relevant area.

I like the new look..

Just a question though.. Could there be a Link at the top along with the "Show unread posts since your last visit" one that is "Show All Unread Posts"

Maybe I'm missing something.. I know that you can see all by going to the since your last visit.. but I usually try and at least hit the mark as read button even on topics that I don't read.. makes it easier to keep up to date

I guess I'm being lazy.. If it can be done easily cool otherwise.. just keep doing what I'm doing.

I couldn't agree more...ugh!  I just don't like change, but oh well...it's about the content not the looks like someone else said.

Is there a way to change the color scheme?

I'd like to see a DRTV button at the top somewhere so I can go right back to DRTV to do other things.

How do you go from the forum home page to the DRTV home page?

How do you go from the forum home page to the DRTV home page?

Yeah it seems like that would be the most important "bottons", "banner", or whatever that needs to still be available.  You most likely got here from there, now give me the link to go back.

As for the colors, everyone has an opinion there, but it looks like a newer, softer forum, kinda like a baby shower invitation.  And we all know there is nothing soft about the opinions and ideas exchanged here.  (No offense to M'ette and any other ladies that might be posting.  ;D )  If your taking votes mine would be to have it match up again with the downrange.tv color scheme. (And no, i'm not suggesting that DRTV should go baby blue...)

This has gotta be some kind of an error or result of some cyber attack.  No ad's guys...gotta have the ads...I would not forget the ads.  You gotta produce revenue to support something like this...and keep you in peanuts.

This new look, for some reason, makes me want to go shopping for curtains, bed spreads, etc.  Next thing you know I'll be checking out pink guns like M'ette!   :o  Okay, time to go do something manly!  Shoot, hunt, pee out a campfire, whatever.   ;D

Not a fan of the color tones.

I do like that I see the entire post on my monitor without having to scroll over.

I hate change. ;)

Although, I do feel more mello and less inclined to fight with FQ.  :-*

Rather generic look.  :( Don't really care for it but it isn't my forum. No body likes change and I must say the blue gives me the "blahs".

I am sure all those things are still in the process of being done. Pretty sure this is just a version upgrade or maybe a completely new and different program. Can't say for sure because I don't remember the info of the older one. Be patient, it's a PITA upgrading forums.

I am sure this is a 'work in progress' and many of the reported 'problems' will be addressed as time allows.

Work in progress it was. Mandatory upgrade last night at 2:00AM and this tired puppy forgot to switch it back to the DRTV layout.

Sorry folks....

I usually go to MB blog from a bookmark, then used the yellow button on the top to go to DRTV.  That button is gone now, I wish it were back.

Actually you could just make DRTV or the forum your home page when you log onto the internet and save even  another step

I think it means "Really Simple Syndication" or something.  A way to catalog information and links to a website...maybe, I think, probably, who knows, I ain't a geek.....

What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication
RSS allows you to syndicate your site content
RSS defines an easy way to share and view headlines and content
RSS files can be automatically updated
RSS allows personalized views for different sites
RSS is written in XML

So, I was partially right!   Now what is XML???

eXtended Markup Language

Any other questions?   ;D

RSS puts a little button on your browser, looks like a file folder with orange swoopy lines on it. You click on it, and down drops a list of the postings of the blogger or whatever. I have 4 - MB's, Preparedness podcast, survivalblog, and the Rifleman. Very handy
