The important part of the article:
Feherty, one of the most popular golf analysts for his sharp wit and self-deprecating humor, was among five Dallas residents who wrote for "D Magazine" on former President George W. Bush moving to Dallas.
"From my own experience visiting the troops in the Middle East, I can tell you this though," Feherty wrote toward the end of his column.
"Despite how the conflict has been portrayed by our glorious media, if you gave any U.S. soldier a gun with two bullets in it, and he found himself in an elevator with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Osama bin Laden, there's a good chance that Nancy Pelosi would get shot twice, and Harry Reid and bin Laden would be strangled to death."
I don't know if its been posted, but that there is what I call funny. I guess we can argue who gets shot and who gets strangled but I thought it was a quality joke for inferior subjects.

I notice our resident liberal FQ has not weighed in with an anti Bush tirade.
Actually I'd probably shoot Osama, as tall as he is he could probably strangle me back, ;D

Now he's in hot water, having to apologize while Wanda Sykes ( i think her name should be spelled "S-u-c-k-s" because I've never heard her say anything funny) gets s free pass on her obnoxious crap.

He may be in hot water with some people, but I would wager that there is a lot more who would agree with him wholeheartedly! Including me. ;D
I have always enjoyed his wit, and now I like it even more. :)

As far as Wanda Sykes, I was a bit disappointed to hear her ignorance. I have seen some stuff where she is a riot. She has a cranky, dry sense of humor that would appeal to a donkey such as myself. This is a problem that I run into a lot, especially here in Berkley East. I have several friend that are great to be around, but are the south bound end on a north bound neutered donkey. Their mind isn't wired right for logical thought in the political realm. You know, some real cut-off-your-nose-to spite-your-face type of folks, politically speaking. I just end up frustrated.
