I've been looking at these for a couple of years.  Most time you can get the 243, 308, 30-06 for 595 - 695.  If you want the 45-70 (like I do) then you're looking at 995.

I believe that may be the first time I've seen buggery used in a sentence before.....

Phil....your mate is using the term as profanity, yes?

for the rest of us, the definition of "buggery" is "sodomy"!

Old English is such a colorful language!     ;D

I use it a lot when I speak   also bugger, or buggered

I know what you mean by it ;)   we have another saying for that  ( can not post that here though )

but then I laugh every time I hear fanny back  as we have another slang saying for fanny ;)   and it ain't a on the rear ;) ;)

I should use more slang on here hehe ;)

Phil,

I am assuming (I know ;) ) that your Bud was talking about the rifle being 'light as buggery' and not the triggers.  Seems to me the other things he mentioned could be fixed pretty easily, smooth the triggers and get a better recoil pad.

Prices on gun broker are 6-700.
