According to the WH Chief Science Director (to insignificant to look up his name) if everyone on Earth painted their roofs white it would reduce global warming. Sunlight would be reflected back into Outer Space and not heat up our atmosphere. I heard the guy is a Nobel Laurette. Sounds to me like another DC Whitewash! The next move will probably be to authorize Congress to allocate funding to the United Nations, who will be put in charge of policing and enforcement. The Rolling Stones will be commissioned to release a song entitled "Paint it White" and all government radio stations will be required to play it hourly. The cuckoo clock has struck 12:00!

I find this entire concept very appalling. What about colors of pigment? They are going to feel inferior. Any color of pigment can do the job just as good as white. Racist bastard. We need to take this opportunity to reach out to all colors and show them they are loved (exept white, we all know what a no good pigmentless oppressor he is).

The director who said this is the Yoh fella we talked about a few months back - singularly unqualified to hold this position except as a mouthpiece for uber-lib insanities passing as science. Note that he doesn't address the fact that in the northern climes, a dark roof also helps heat the space below it by absorbing sunlight and converting it to heat. Making our roofs white will only increase our energy consumption in the winter - assuming of course that our insect overlords allow us to do that.
BTW, it is MHO that this is how we will be led - through the international community. bho ain't the brightest bulb in the pack, but his handlers are cunning, and they probably know they cannot undo the Bill of Rights. But, agree to UN programs or other treaties that supersede the Constitution, well then, there you have it - no more rights. Our "elected" representatives have approved these treaties, so give 'em up - all of your rights, weapons, anything that makes you, well, you.

Actually guys, hate to break the bad news, but thre is science here. There was a study in Phoenix about increased temps in the city over the last few decades. It wsn't blamed on global warming, but on increased development, particularly the heat trapped in asphalt and, yes, dark roofs. When I graduated college I bought a brand new ( un airconditioned) dark blue Ford Ranger for the princely some of $6000. The F150 I drive now is white, despite the AC. There is a reason for that. ;D

Note this for future reference! The White House will reveal that men with full heads of hair are absorbing massive quantities of sunlight that are being trapped in our atmosphere and contributing to climate change (Note: global warming is not politically correct anymore). Baldies, like me, and skinheads will reflect said sunlight and will receive substantial compensation in the form of carbon credits that will allow us to drive massive SUVs while the rest of you will be relegated to public transportation or shoe boxes that we used to call automobiles.

Just get all the politicians to SHUT UP for a day or two and there would be enough reduction in hot air to reverse any supposed climate change.
