Title: Anyone here use Airsoft gas pistols
Post by: rojawe on May 31, 2009, 05:50:57 PM
With the ammo prices I was wondering about the Airsoft gas powered pistols, anyone have any experience with them. I hate to spend the money and not be happy with them Thanks ahead  ???

I own several, and if you get the good ones, the weight is right, and it does work for practice, I set up beer cans around the house and holster my softair, and when I come around a corner and see one,  extend, touch, press until the target is down. I highly recommend them. Don't get the real thing mixed up with the softair thing. Bad JUJU. And don't shoot them at the TV, they will crack the plastic cover on your HD experience.

I have two that I use for practice.  Don't give the full recoil experience, but they do give trigger time and sight picture.  Like M25, I set up targets around the room, but I use DVD cases.  Airsoft will knock them down from a distance.  I also use post-its on the wall to practice transitions, but be prepared to explain the marks in the paint when you miss  ;D

Not an airsoft but a C02 powered BB M&P. They sell them on Midway. I love mine the trigger is a little heavy but a decent shooter. I can shoot it in my basement. I open the garage door and put the target stand in the driveway and I can stay dry even on rainy days . A great practice aid in my opinion and not too expensive to shoot. I usually get 80-100 bb's out of 1 c02 cartridge and I am usually tired of loading the bb's by then. By the way the gun was only $40.

Mine aren't actual Airsoft either.  They are WE with gas blowback.
