Now that I have just a little bit more time in life, I'd like to maybe learn to do a little more to my handguns besides field strip them for cleaning.
I'd appreciate it if you all have any advice as to a book or dvd or two that would help me take the next step beyond the basics to clean and tune our revolvers and autoloaders. I don't need to learn everything at once and I don't have any real need to fine tune stuff to the "N-th" degree because my wife and I don't shoot competively. I'd just like to get some info on the next level of maintenance, etc.
Thanks

Nobody? Not one suggestion? Did I say something wrong?
Maybe I should just visit a gunsmith

I'm in the same boat. It was also a show suggestion I gave to Michael
I would like to SEE some one get to the action in a revolver and a lever and SHOW how to stone them and such.
Also how to do a detail clean or should we even do that? (etc.)
