I'm so excited I'm about to burst.
Found this on ar15 dot com. I hope the attachment comes out.
one jacked AR15.
1) DPMS UPPER AND LOWER.
2) Krieger 26" 1/6.5 twist ss barrel.
3) Magpul adjustable stock.
4) geselli trigger, match set at 1.5 lbs.
5) JP floated forearm.
6) JP gas block.
7) AR15 bench blocks and armorers wrenches. ( I already have these but what the heck ).
8) 5 ar15 related books on modifying for increased reliability and accuracy.
9) dies, brass, xtra stocks.
This guy is going to bolt guns and is getting completely out of the ar business.
Now the best part 900.00 bucks.
His add simply said ( ar15 for sale )
-
Sounds sweet.
With that fast of a twist does it pretty much demand light bullets?
-
I just hope that one day each of us lucks into a deal like that... I'm hoping mine says '.223 rifle for sale'
and turns out to be a transferable sear gun... For $900. ;)
-
Actually it's built for the heavy bullets, owner was using berger 80 grn vld bullets with great success. He also stated it shot very well with federal match 69 grainers. It won't like light bullets at all.
-
OOPS, I had it bass akwards! :-[ (Fast twist = heavy, slow twist = light)
-
$900.. :o
What a deal...I'm jealous!
-
Sweet!

You are one of the guys I can quickly learn to hate ;)
It is on posts like yours that I hear about all the good deals out there.
Enjoy while the rest of us drool.
P.S.
A quick poll
How many wives out there have begged their husbands to start surfing porn after they discovered sites like this?

Got the goodie box yesterday, email from the seller said " I found some other ar15 stuff and threw it in, when you open the box your going to think it's Christmas." He was right. Along with what he stated in the add, I recieved.
1) a set of yankee hill back up sights.
2) a sinclair cleaning rod guide.
3) an unmarked flashlight with pressure pad, very bright, that will mount to a rail.
4) a bayonet mount for a flashlight or laser.
5) a white oak armament full float handguard, looks very quality made and I need another one.
6) 4 unopened boxes of Lapua match .223 brass.
7) 2 unopened boxes of berger 80 grn vld ( very low drag, ballistic coeffcient .471) bullets.
8) 1 unopened box of berger 90 grn vld's. bc of .517
9) hammer, sear and disconnector set.
11) a barrel extension socket.
12) gobs of bore, chamber brushes and cleaning equipment.
I don't think I can post enough positive feedback for this guy.
Now this morning, I pick up the rifle from my dealer, WOW, it's all the seller said and more. I did not notice in the picture that this was a match reciever. It's thicker and more reinforced, ejection port is smaller than normal, and no forward assist. The trigger is the best I've ever felt on an ar15, and I have felt plenty, better even than a Jewell, which I have great respect for.
The balance and weight was better than expected with a 26" bull barrel, I guess do to the JP forend and Magpul stock. I don't think I would use it in 3 gun, but I might try once.
Just wanting to share.
M58, does than mean model 58 S&W. My friends all say I'm the luckiest person ( when it comes to guns ) they ever even heard about. Make no mistake, I am a shrewed trader. I've been at this a long time. I watch several sights during the day for oppurtunities like this, no doubt this is a fluke. But I will keep looking and monitoring on websites and gunshows.
As to m58's last question, when I met my wife 27 years ago, I told her, I'm a shooter, thats what I do, and want to do the rest of my life. I explained what that meant. She agreed and has kept her end of the bargain. Her shining moment was when she saw me taking a gun to trade at a gunshow, because I did not have any money, She asked why I wanted to trade it? I said because I don't have any money. She asked " do you like that gun?" I said yes, but I might like something better at the show.
She said, "I don't like you selling your guns," Bless this woman. That began, my long run of buying and not selling. I can still go to porn sites, but that keeps me from looking at DRTV, Gunbroker, Auction arms, ar15.com, Guns america, glocktalk, brownells, etc...
Thanks guys and gals.

Hey Marshallete, YOUR REAL GOOD!!
I had the rifle boxed up and ready for UPS when I realized I did not have the address, that's when I snapped back to reality. No wonder Marshall picked you and Michael hired you. Thanks for the shot in the psyche.
Best regards, M25
