has anyone tried out the 24/7 big dot or standard dot sight they look pretty promissing for self deffence but im pretty picky about acuracy at the range as well i like to double punch my holes but i like how fast you can have sight alignment with them so any input is helpful thanks

I have them on my Glock 17 and love them. Shot recovery is very quick. These videos tell the story better than I can.

I put them on my AK. Like 'em alot.

Put them on my 1911A1 and the accuracy is great.

I have them on my Kimber Ultra CDP II and also on my S&W night guard 396. They work great on both. They are extremely fast to acquire work well in all light conditions. I will say in daylight I prefer green fiber, but for all conditions the big dot tritiums win hands down.

I have them on my Glock 23 and love them.
My eyes are not as sharp as they used to be and not needing to balance the "white space" on both sides of the front sight is a major advantage.
They are very quick to acquire and that big front dot grabs your attention and makes it easy to focus on the front sight.
I will replace the sights on my other pistols with them as soon as I am able.

To me they don't look like anything special - not a major improvement over standard night sights IMHO. If you use anything enough to become comfortable with it you will get good at it so if you like them give them a try.
Personally, after seeing Yeager's response to that scary training video I tend to automatically discount anything that poser knucklehead has to say. YMMV.

Have them on my S&W 457, .45acp carry gun and my AR-15. Great sighting system. Not made for target shooting, made for combat.
