As for the grendel's. They were cool and all. Dad loved them so much he collected several pistols, one rare long barrel pistol and a pair of the rifles. Same as the pistols but with a collapsible stock and long barrel and like 50 mags.
I think Mom still has some of them left.
I did not care for them or there brother the P10 a 380 pistol.
I found the P30 had a feeding issue with some ammo's.

Still they were very cool for what they were. I mean having 30rounds of 22mag in a pistol is not bad!

But I traded my pistol and rifle to Dad for getting me my newer model Steyr in 40.

I would consider owning a block but I don't like the grip angle.

Not sure if any of you have heard but if you join the Glock Shooting Sports Foundation you are able to purchase one Glock every 12 months at the police discounted price!!!!

I am really wanting to pick up the Glock 35 and may go this route depending on how well I do at the GSSF shoot in Indianapolis this weekend.

While a class above your average "tupperware", I guess it does qualify for this thread.

You know Tom, Timothy,
For the right bet, I WOULD put my glock throgh the dishwasher and expect it to shoot fine (at last after a sort rinse and for one mag). Would you be willing to do it with your 1911? Bidding starts at $550...... ;D

Yup, it's mostly aluminum alloy with a stainless slide and fire control components...not a problem!  In fact, the originals were built rather sloppy in fit so they would run even when they were wet or dirty...Accuracy in WWI and WWII was not the Army's main criteria.  It was function, under extreme circumstances.

Yes, and it's blued steel. Dishwasher will not bother it. Clothes washer would be a different matter.

MAK 90, stamped reciever, parkerized OD green.  Nothin fancy.  Just my "Timex watch".
Oh yeah.  Bought it at a department store in SC years ago for $169.99...  If I had only known then!!!

To many mods to this one to bother listing.  But its got a plastic stock!  And will readily survive a dishwasher!

Well, I went to the GSSF Shoot. I shot, missed two, time was so-so. Guess I will wait and see what happens. Seems like a ton of cops hanging around and shooting. Was a great time and many of them had suggestions to the course of fire. Of the two I missed, I incorrectly counted the rounds in the magazine and sold myself short one round. Otherwise, fired 82 rounds and hit 80 engaging multiple targets. All in 103.44 seconds in various strings of fire. Fortunately, none of the targets were firing back. I am happy to have participated. Just wish that I would have practiced. No excuses. Gave it all I had.  8)
