Here is the Ruger Single Six I found at Gander Mountain on my birthday. I got a great deal because it only has the .22 Mag cylinder for it. I found a replacement .22LR cylinder and am waiting for it to arrive. When I bought it I thought it was a RSS5X, but when I called up Ruger Records it came up as a RSSMX shipped in 1965, Enjoy...

This was taken with a flash, the others were natural light

Sweet. Is the RSSMX the ones that were magnum only, meaning they only shipped with a magnum cylinder?
-
Blackwolfe, the RSSMX is a 6&1/2 inch barreled Single Six with the extra .22 Magnum cylinder. The X indicates a convertible gun. A Single Six with a 5&1/2 inch barrel would be a RSS5 or a RSS5X if it had the extra cylinder

A great little gun. I have one in SS with fake Ajax Ivory grips. Love to plink with that little gun.
-
I forgot the X was convertible. There were some that were magnum only, but i forget the model number designation.
-
Love the grip angle, and old school backstrap and flare to the base of the grip.
Sweet.

Glad you got the other cylinder situation solved.
