Yes I do - wanted one ever since I saw it described in some magazine - Look, Life, one of those.

Not worth a crap besides the "COOL factor" along with everything else the accuracy was nearly non existant because the rockets spiraled in flight, but still cool. ;D

I remember an old episode of Future Weapons on Discovery I think. They were reviewing a full auto 12 gauge. One of the perks was these grenades that were saboted. When they left the barrel, the sabot wuld fall off and little fins would come out of the projecile. A bit Buck Rogers, but it amused the heck out of me.

I had never seen or heard of it before. Thanks for the post. As you say a definite "COOL factor"

Looks fun anyway!  With all the weird, over complex trigger mechanism's I've seen, that one might take the cake!  No very complex, but...  :-\

I think the Gyrojet's shortcomings could be overcome if they used it like a conventional (but rocket powered) bullet in a cartridge. It would have full power at the muzzle then speed up as it got farther away.

I love that highly calibrated scientific scale - "it weighs ...  about 2 3/4 pounds ... pretty heavy"

Does your Mommy know what your doing in the basement?

A little advice, video the testing of the mortar rounds so the coroner won't have to guess what happened.

Knock Knock ---- ATF Calling  ;D

Facebook and YouTube - The the two most effective tools law enforcement has, and "we" are too stupid to catch on.  Kinda like the drunk sitting in the booking room bragging about how well he avoided 92 of 100 trees after doing the most shots of everyone in the bar ... and that he and one other guy were the only two left standing  ;D

Or the two guys getting their stories straight in the PD lobby, You know, the waiting room with the small signs saying "Conversations may be monitored".

They are definately cutting a fine line in manufacturing class 3 weapons or other destructive devices. I'm no lawyer but if they don't manufacture for distribution or sale it might be legal? :-\ Though I don't have any intention of finding that one out for myself. ;D ::)

My understanding is that if it is NON CLASS III, and not for sale or distribution you are OK, like this guy
