Holy S$$# indeed. It looks great. I would worry about the gimmicky stock though.Adjustable is great, but is it stable, will it get hung up crawling through the bushes? If the answers are yes and no, a very nice weapon.

They should have just made it into a standard AR upper -- but bolt action.

Strait bolt, mmm. On a totally different note, thats the ugliest gun I've ever seen. :P

FTB: "Murdoc spotted a video where a Remington VC referred to the ACR, formerly Magpul Masada, as the Remington ACR.
...
It says that the rifle will be available in 5.56mm NATO, 6.8mm SPC and 6.5mm Grendel."
Me like. Me always has. Me wants . . . ;D

I really like what I have read about the 6.8 SPC round. Had a AR platform in my hands a few weeks ago that someone had built in 6.8 SPC. He wanted $800 for it and was going to buy it. Had a DPMS lower and cannot remember what the upper was but decided against it at the last minute. I would rather have the whole kit be DPMS, Bushmaster, etc.
As for the Remington Bolt Action Sniper Rifle, I would love to have one in .338 Lapua. The video seemed to show some serious recoil for the shooter. Looked like he was getting rocked back pretty good.

Certainly looks Tac-ti-cool enough

6.8 is nearly identical in ballistic performance as the tried and true (and widely available) .243

UPDATE: ACR release scheduled for late this year
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2009/06/30/bushmaster-acr-coming-late-this-year-maybe/
The Magpul Masada design has been licensed to Bushmaster Firearms and they are handling production and distribution. It’s been renamed the ACR and was officially scheduled for release in the first Quarter of 2009. However, Bushmaster/Remington plans on offering up the ACR for the M4 replacement solicitation. This is necessitating some possible small design changes (barrel life requirements, rail markings, position of full-auto safety, etc.) to meet certain mil-specs along with much more scrutiny in the testing process. Unfortunately this will most likely delay the release an undetermined amount of time but we are hoping it will be unveiled sometime late this year with a retail of around $1500.
*Thanks Firearm Blog!

Finally a factory decides to produce what essentially is a factory tube gun! Anyone have any idea on MSRP?
