December I had a vertical gastric sleeve done (the new weight loss surgery) I got curious this afternoon when I woke up because the pants I got last month were getting a little baggy and I went into my dresser with my old clothes before I let my weight get out of control. I got into my 42 inch waist Wranglers (and they are loose and now I'm as skinny as my avatar pic is. I've reached what was my initial goal was. So in other words I'VE LOST TWENTY INCHES :)
Excuse me I have to go do a Snoopy Dance now.

Good job! Whats 20 inches in pounds? And as someone who is like yourself loosing weight, I've always had it, its good to hear your making it happen. I've dropped 20 pounds in two weeks through hella exercise. Keep up the good work. I know when loosing they say don't reward yourself with food, but a new gun purchase... ;D

GOOD FOR YOU !!!
As to Bryans comment, well hey, there are 0 calories in a new pistol. ;D

And there is that sale at midwestgunexchange.com. What says well done, better than a $550 AR or a $400 Smith snubby? Its a good thing you didn't come to this board for weight loss advice. MB should rename it EnablersR'Us. ;D

To put this into perspective..
One year ago I was about 230 wearing 38" waisted Wranglers. Today I'm about 265 wearing 40" Wranglers. Based on that information, losing 20 inches is phenominal or AKA a "Shit Load" of weight loss....
Contrats and keep up the good work. ;)

Great job Dakotaranger!
I've slowed in my task, but I blame reaching my immediate goal for the Pro-Am and am just maintaining now. Have started looking at the next step and will pursue more as summer continues on.
Enjoy the loss and the new lighter feeling!
P.S.
I also blame Rastus for putting that really really good medium pizza in front of me ;)

Awesome Dakotaranger.
Great job. I agree on you treating yourself to that 0 calorie gun. You deserve it and if you wear some of your old clothes you could conceal at least 4 or 5. ;D

A little hard to figure since I don't have a scale, but I had my six month check up on June 1st and was just getting into a 46" I was down to 281lbs-having lost 158lbs. So I'm guessing around 260.

Very impressive Dakota. I know how tough weight issues can be.Although my problem is the reverse, trying to eat through meds that often leave me nauseous and having to avoid fat and grease and other good stuff as a result, the every day part of trying to go from 165 back to 180 (and not get exhausted from walking 1/2 mile) is the same. You can't just take food for granted, which sucks. You definately deserve Kudos. I also still think you deserve a fire arm as well! ;D
