Title: The Fed will control home sales

I just heard this morning that one of the provisions in the new "Facist Fed Control" bill (Cap and Trade) is, if you want to sell your home, a federal inspector will first have to check it for energy efficiency. If your home doesn't comply with the "new" federal standards, you will have to update your home before you can sell it.

This means new windows, doors, and air conditioners for all homes older than 3 or 4 years. How many thousands will you have to cough up to move now?

Oh yeah, fannie mae, and HUD financed homes are exempt from the new regs.

I'm sure that Union workers homes will also be exempt

In Austin you already have to get your home inspected before you sale for efficiency, but there are no updates involved.  I think they have the idea that you need to give the potential buyers a reasonable estimate on utilities.

Surely thou art not implying that classes of individuals are being created.  That would be so....,well, ...un-American.  But then, what is American?  Chavez is American too, right?

Developing classes, setting up different levels of citizens may lead to future conflict.  Intentional or not, the Dems (and RINOS) seem happy to develop victims and provide special rights to people who aren't citizens.  In all previous civilizations diversity has led to strife whereas unity has led to greatness.

I guess we know which poison has been picked.
