And with an AK he could hide behind a 12" thick Oak tree at a hundred yards and you'd STILL hit him!

As many as their reportedly are (I've never spent much time out west), has anyone ever tried to eat these things?  :-\

They taste like hamster. It's better food for the birds and coyotes unless you're backpacking. Those kids who go to NOLS eat them regularly.
