Title: Downrange Radio #117
Post by: True_Texan on July 15, 2009, 05:28:55 AM
MB, that was once again a great podcast to listen to.

I did, however, seem to keep hearing SOTO instead of solo during the opening/ending song you had chosen. That was indeed a great song to choose. I think SOTOmayor should have to walk her talk and her talk leads her right out of the nomination.

I guess in today's excuse and apology filled world, everyone will ignore any past statements made and let it slide. Just boggles the mind really. Although it seems very few people actually have to back up their talk with the ability provided by the Internet to remain anonymous. I suppose it doesn't matter what I think though, after all, I'm just a white male.

That reminds me of another song. It's by Brad Paisley: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GcVnhNjWV0

Again, great podcast. Could listen to the rants and gun info for several more hours. ;)

Thank you!

I thought the song made a powerful point...besides, I just like cowboy music!

    M.B.,
I confess that I'm a techno, behind the curve, failure but for the second straight week the podcast cut off early (I know this b/c I KNOW you would talk longer than 19 minutes). Is BHO cutting off the program? Has my boss sabotaged the computer? What gives?
All kidding aside, keep up the good work & get me up to speed on what could be wrong.

Same problem again this week with me too on the podcast download. I get mine through Zune, and this is the second time it's cut short. Last week at around 13 minutes, and this week at 19. Anyone got any ideas? It's especially frstrating because once you hook the Zune back up, it thinks that what you've listened to is old, so it deletes it and won't re-download it. Other than listening online is there another way to download it again in whole?
Since more than one of us is having the same issue, there must be something going on. Unfortunately I know just enough about computers to get myself in trouble if I start mucking around with settings and such.  :o

Just right click on the mp3 link and down load to your computer then play it with any media play on your system.

I had the problem of the podcase being short...though I attributed it to a weak connection at the motel I was staying at.  I had to download 5 times to get the full podcast.

I guess I'll just have to start manually downloading the podcasts as mp3's. This is the third time in the last 3 weeks that Zune only downloaded part. This week it only downloaded 9 minutes. Last week 39 minutes, and the one before like 13 minutes. Frustrating. It's worked great until 3 weeks ago. Dang.
