I have tried something like this on a hand gun. They were slow. I did not care for them.

If you go over to XDTalk.com, and do a search in the forums, or go to the vendor area specifically for Sure Sights, you will find some reviews.  I beleive that the overall impression has been positive.  These are very similar to the ones found on the Steyr pistols, which have also gotten good reviews.

The Steyr pistol is what I tried them on the Sig rep had several demo guns. They were just were slow to point and slow to recover with.

Just my 2 cents after shooting that style of sight.

They take getting used to.  Putting the point where you want the shot to hit, instead of standard of the flat top of the sight below the actual target is slightly different, but once you get used to them they are fast.  My wife has a set on her Glock and likes it, though her two Sigs she has standard sights, of course she has added Crimson Trace laser sights to those two.
