Well, ATT finally cut off their Usenet service.
I sent them an email asking for a reduction of my rate since they're no longer providing one of the features of Internet service, but to no avail.
I know I can obtain Usenet through other services, but this bugs me. Of course, Usenet is, I think, (and I could be wrong, frequently am) dieing. One of the original Internet services/protocols, is being replaced by web base forums. Groups that I followed for years, who would have 100s of postings a day barely see a 100 posts a week now.
R.I.P. Usenet, along with Archie, Gopher and Veronica.

Yeah, usenets are dying, totally replaced by other methods and services. Although int he IT industry and long-time user of the intertubes, I actually never got into the usenets.
