Hey, I'm from Sig Forum too.
-
Man... They will let anyone in here...
Darn SF transplants. :-\
-
No, I am a RugerForum guy!
-
I'm here...but I hardly count!
Thanks for dropping in, guys...I'm going to try and sort through this forum first thing every AM...which probably means a little less time on the SIG, S&W, RUGER and SIXGUNNER forums, where I usually hang out!
Lemme know what directions you'd like to see DOWN RANGE go in!

SF guy here too.
Ckott - what clan is the badge from?

I have one from McBane, a sept of MacBean..."touch not the cat without a targe!"
We shoudl probably update that and give the wildcat a 1911...

Graham of Menteith
Blair of Atholl
Hanna of Sorbie
And that's just from one-half of the family.

Hi,
Ted here, tacted from BEforum. Good luck with this latest undertaking, Michael !
btw, do you have enough snow in Boulder yet ?
-
I am profoundly and utterly sick of snow! The 6-ft drift keeps moving around the driveway, like some lethargic komodo dragon...dig it out, and it comes back! We're getting the 3rd night of 60+ mph winds...well, it's still one heck of a view from up here!
THANKS for all the kind words!
Am hopeful about changing the world...LOL

Michael you should move back to TN, we only had a dusting of snow. But it is cold right now 16, suppose to be in the 30's for the next 7 days.
I hang out at the combat carry and XD forums.
-
I grew up in Tennessee...well, Memphis.
I thought there was a plaque or something...

Yes, I have a daughter who lives in Berthoud, about 35 miles northeast of you. She echoes your sentiments.
+1 on the view. She has Longs Peak framed in her living room window.
As far as changing the world....laughing out loud ain't a bad way to start :)

Sf & GT are 2 of the best pistol forums out there. I've learned to stay away from the General Discussion forums, way too many know-it-all, done-it-all's out there.
-
SF guy here too.
Ckott - what clan is the badge from?
MacLeod of Harris. Nice place hey?

Greetings - a new menber from Troy.Ohio.USA
Michael, the site looks great at first glance, and I expect i'll appreciate it even more after I look around a bit.

Doin' my best to build up the best firearms site on the Internet. You should see the stuff we've got in the works for final version!
We're pushing really hard to get up the software for the user-contributed videos, a la YouTube. We can't be more than a couple of weeks out from that. We're also pushing hard on the next 3 or 4 "channels" — dedicated pages for specific content — including TEQUILA's WILD WEST CHANNEL; MACHINEGUN.tv, hosted by Alan Samuel; SHOOTING TIPS for both competition and self-defense (including weekly video tips from GUNSITE!) and one that's particularly dear to my heart, a CUSTOM GUN channel, featuring videos from Bill Laughridge at Cylinder & Slide; the great Hamilton Bowen from Bowen Classic Arms and others.
I also can't thank our first advertisers enough...SIGARMS, TACTICAL SOLUTIONS and PALADIN PRESS. This exercise is like hemorraging money! I used to have a savings account (of course, i used to have a job! LOL!).
Still, it's the right thihng to do. There ar eseveral Internet video initiatives under way...and they're all focused on...surprise...hunting. i was profoundly afraid that we'd end up ont he Internet the same way we ended up on broadcast teevee...the heavily armed red-headed stepchild. My team was determined not to let that crap happen AGAIN!!!
